TheLEF was founded in northwest Toronto in 1978 and today helps to build the future for more than 10,000 people every year. The value added programs available through LEF, generate skilled, qualified and motivated employees for local employers.

Habitat for Humanity Toronto's 'Women Build'
Nicky and Betty were featured recently on Small Business Big Ideas which airs on Sunday mornings on 107.7 FM. & 1580 CKDO which airs in the Durham area. The radio program was produced by the Durham Home & Small Business Association of which Nicky and Betty are members.
"We're both women in construction, we felt being on the show was a perfect link to the upcoming Habitat for Humanity Toronto's Women Build Blitz on May 1st 2008. We want to support & promote women in a male dominated industry and inspire other women to both step outside the box & get involved in a really worthy cause."
